When "Life" and the world of work competed with my desire to find a healthy lifestyle, I found TNT to be the answer I needed to individualize and customize an approach of one-on-one nutritional counseling. I recently went on a 2 week vacation and worried how I was going to manage my diet. When I returned and did my weigh in I had lost a pound! Boy – everyone was surprised especially me. Thinking back on what I had eaten I realized that selections were definitely guided by what Lori had taught me. Although I did not eat 5 small meals a day (being on a cruise and doing excursions curtailed those options) I chose fish dishes 90% of the time that came baked or broiled (this alone for me was a big change in diet since fish is not a favorite choice or one that I find pleasing to cook). As with most cruises everything is ala carte so I skipped the appetizers, I always chose a salad and asked for the dressing on the side and ordered the fish entree. I did order dessert (not every meal) but I did choose things like sherbet or ate only part of something that I considered high in calories. I did not eat at the buffet style restaurant but a couple of times and tried to pick the high protein items. I did a lot of walking during the "excursions" and did some sit-ups and push-ups in my room but I did not go to the on board gym. I had a wonderful time on my vacation and did not actively stress over my eating.



For most of my adult life, I never cared about being overweight and figured I had neither the willpower nor strength to actually lose weight. That all changed in February 2009 when I became a client of Total Nutrition and Therapeutics. Lori Esarey and her assistant, Christine Meginley, thoroughly explained what it would take to lose weight from an exercise and nutrition standpoint. You see, exercise and healthy eating were foreign concepts to me. Even though I was skeptical at first, it was obvious that Lori and Christine were passionate and excited about the prospect of me shedding pounds. That passion rubbed off on me, and in a span of 6 or 7 months I went from 289 pounds to 245 pounds. From there, I continued incorporating everything that Lori and Christine taught me and now I can proudly say I weight 215 pounds!! Total Nutrition and Therapeutics equipped me with the necessary knowledge and support for me to not only lose weight but understand the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. These days, a typical evening involves walking four miles and riding my bike for 10 miles. I have a newfound appreciation for healthy living, and I attribute that to Lori and Christine.



Aiding a 38 year old female with polycystic ovaries lose a total of 65 pounds in 31 weeks. After entering the program with a word of "good luck" to me and "I have never lost more than 15 pounds" statement, she was committed to the program. To this day, 3.5 years later, she remains living the healthy balanced lifestyle that she was taught and has maintained her weight. She also has gained the endurance and flexibility that keeps her doing the activities she loves, like golf and playing with her kids. Assisting a 42 year old 540 pound young man who was struggling with his weight, achieve ½ of his body weight and a body fat reduction of 25% in one year. TNT provided an individualized, customized approach of one-on-one nutritional counseling. He was taught the concepts of eating the right food, in the right amount at the right time. Alongside of a personal trainer, we worked together to motivate, encourage and empower him to achieve success. As he worked diligently to transform his mind and body during this journey, he took ownership of his decisions and began living an "excuse free life". During this process, he inspired many to do the same.



I am the typical yo-yo dieter. But when my YO reached over 200 pounds, it was time to get serious. I attended a Total Nutrition & Therapeutics seminar and realized this was the ticket. TNT taught me to be accountable for my food choices. I learned about proteins, good carbs, essential fats and nutritional values. Wearing the armband became a fashion statement and entering my food into the computer was fun. Any doubts I had about the program were dissuaded as I lost weight ending the 12 week period down 32 pounds! After a year I have been able to maintain a weight of 158. There are still people who approach me and tell me that I am looking ‘skinny’. TNT is Dynamite.



I just wanted to drop you guys a line to say thank you for helping me with my weight loss. I am now maintaining a healthy weight and am exercising more regularly. Any time I see a little weight slipping on I go back to the stricter phase of the diet. I love that I know what to do and not do without having to put much thought into it. I continue reading and learning all the time and it helps to keep me motivated. Thank you for your help.



My issue with weight is summed up in one word, LIFE. Before I realized what had happened I was 208lbs. I learned through a retreat that I went to that I could do more physical activity than I thought. But that was just a part of the equation. Another part was learning about what my body really needed and why, and that’s where TNT came in. I’ve learned so much about what my body really needs. As I lost weight, I found my energy level increased. Working out became easier and my body now craves the exercise. All the hard work has paid off and thanks to the TNT program I can now live my life instead of just existing in it. My current weight is 148lbs and I am wearing a size 6. I have been a “professional loser” in weight loss since 1979. I graduated from every weight lost program ever created. Although I had some success with different programs I found that they really weren’t teaching me how to make the proper choices when I was at home or dining out. With other programs I became bored with the weekly meeting and ended up backsliding again. Your program however works! Posting foods daily keeps me mindful of the achievements I have attained. I started the program on May 7th, 2009 weighing 257 lbs. Today I have lost a total of 57 pounds. I not only have a new body but a new way to live. Thank you for being my teachers, and I am proof that one is never too old to learn.

My name is Frank Miller and I am 69 years old. As a senior I watched myself grow unhealthy because of my eating habits and ended up gaining weight. My wife attended a presentation for TNT and we found a program that we could “Live” with, so we joined and our new journey began. I, as many, had reservations because of my bad habits and my lack of exercise but as I got into the program I started to see changes. The pounds started dropping and clothes started to feel “BIG”. My labs were also improved and I am in the normal range which makes me feel healthier every day. I’m now at 180 pounds and I have a ways to go, but I’ll get there. Thirteen weeks to change the course of disaster is a small price to pay. TNT is an excellent program and I would encourage anyone who wants to make a change in their life to give it a try. It may save your life.

Our health is one of the most important things we possess. Yet it was so easy to gain a pound here and there, before we knew it, the scale tilted in the wrong direction and the health issues started. These included high blood pressure, high cholesterol, achy joints, borderline diabetes, loss of energy and depression. In April 2010 we attended a private conference, at the recommendation of our Doctor, with Lori and she explained TNT. We enrolled in the 13 week TNT program. We were motivated to become trimmer, healthier seniors.

We conferenced each week either in person or via phone and Lori seemed to have a sense about what we needed to hear and discuss. The Body Media food logging site is a great educational tool, which keeps us honest, with instant feedback. Lori has taught us about the nutritional values of food, and supplements. We have learned about calorie counts, proteins, carbs and fats contained in products. As the pounds gradually came off and we were feeling better, we knew the choice was right. Along with the weight loss many of the health symptoms we experienced are decreasing and we hope to be prescription free soon. We have actually tipped the scale to a healthy balance. The positive changes that we have made to our health and well-being are a result of the education and support given at TNT.
