Weight Management

Total Nutrition and Therapeutics Weight Management program was designed to offer clients an individualized nutrition education. To teach people all about eating the right foods, at the right time, in the right amount to achieve optimum health. TNT wants clients to move beyond Weight loss to Wellness for life.

Program Outline:
• 13 Week program starting with individualized consultation
• Baseline Information will be taken including blood work, body fat testing, waist measurement, personal and medical history, current medications and a one week metabolic evaluation and establish goals
Bodymedia armband and access to the website will be distributed to tabulate your calories burned, steps taken, sleep efficiency and document your caloric intake to specifically determine your own individual needs
• Week 1 evaluation. Review all data and educate client on core nutritional components (2 hours)
• Week 2-12, weekly follow ups to chart progress against set goals, continue nutrition education; including how to read labels, types of protein, glycemic index, understanding salt and more

Optional Tools:
Spectracell Labs Functional Vitamin Analysis to determine deficiencies that must be corrected
• Pharmaceutical grade vitamin supplements

At the end of the 13 week program, clients have the opportunity to enroll in phase 2. This is an additional 12 weeks and consultants will continue to work with clients to reach goals set through weekly reviews, question answering and education and encouragement. When the client has reached their set goal they can join phase 3, or maintenance. In this part of the program clients are encouraged to continue visits depending on their needs. TNT recognizes that every person needs a different level of accountability and the Weight Management program is customized according to those needs.

Disease Management

Total Nutrition and Therapeutics has developed this new program to assist clients who are ill or who wish to know what illnesses they are susceptible to in their lives. Once these illnesses are identified TNT will assist participants in changing their lifestyle and thereby changing their genetic processes. Through nutritional education and encouragement reversing disease states such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, cancer and many others can be accomplished. Ultimately TNT wishes to reduce health care expenses for people by teaching the value of taking care of the most precious asset we have, our body from the inside out.

Sports & Fitness Nutrition

Total Nutrition and Therapeutics has just recently branched into the area of athletic support through the Sports Fitness Nutrition program. This program has been developed to educate athletes at any level on how to feed their bodies properly to improve performance, physique and endurance. If you or a family member desires to run your first marathon, 10K or 5K or if you have a child who participates in a sport and is feeling "out of gas" on the field, then this is your program. Sport Fitness Nutrition is designed to help individuals of all ages understand specifically which nutrients are necessary to maximize their energy levels on and off the field.

• Baseline information such as blood work, personal and medical history, current medications, body fat analysis is recorded and evaluated and goals are set
• Education on eating the right foods, at the right time, also which supplements or meal replacements that will assist clients in optimizing their physical fitness
• Work with clients to set up training programs to accomplish their goals
