Total Nutrition and Therapeutics was established in October of 2007 by owner and family nurse practitioner Lori Esarey, ARNP. The thirteen week program, to teach individuals how to change their lives through nutrition education, was developed with the help of a registered Dietician and a Family Practice Doctor. Before bringing it to market, two trial programs with six individuals per trial was executed to see if the program that was developed could be reproduced and taught. Following the success of these programs TNT began taking patients in late 2007. Since then, TNT has assisted clients as young as 8 and as old as 85. TNT is now in the process of expanding its program offering to include not only Weight/Fat Management but also Disease State Management and Sports Fitness Nutrition.
TNT's mission is to empower individuals of all ages to achieve optimum health through education and encouragement. Our vision is to create a wellness mindset momentum that is infectious, leaving obesity, illness and disease behind for lives that are truly healthy, to go beyond Weightloss to Wellness.

Her passion is to improve wellness one life at a time led her to develop Total Nutrition and Therapeutics. TNT is an innovative, individualized weight management program designed to help people lose body fat, improve lean body mass, improve health and achieve wellness. As a mother of four children, Lori enjoys running marathons and personal training, but most of all she enjoys helping individuals in the community. |
Lori Esarey, ARNP is a certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in preventative health services. She has Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of South Florida. She completed a critical care internship program at James A. Haley VA. Following her education, she came back to Lake County and has been practicing since 1995. Along with practicing, she has returned to the University of South Florida to earn a second Masters in Nutrition and Metabolic Medicine and she is also pursuing a fellowship certification in anti-aging medicine.
